How much weight can I expect to lose in eight weeks?

I know that this is a bit of a "how long is a piece of string?" question but how much weight can I realistically hope to lose in eight weeks? I'm getting married and need to seriously start thinking about my wedding dress! I'd appreciate any advice from more experienced MFP'ers.

I'm currently 96kg and a UK size 18. I'm eating around 1500 calories a day with 3 protein based meals and two snacks (am breastfeeding so can't go any lower) and burning an average of 300 a day with exercise. Does this sound about right? Is there anything else you would recommend I do?

I'm also friendless on MFP so please feel free to add me - any extra motivation would be good!

    Depending on how active you are, you're likely to lose 1-2lb a week. Of course you may lose more because you're restricting your calories but you may also lose less. It's a very difficult question to answer. I think you accurately summed it up in your first sentence lol
