Other than Garmin or Polar?

They're both just out of my price range. I've seen some great deals online, only to find that they don't ship to Canada, or the shipping is another $30, etc, etc. In store they look to be around $160. I just can't do that right now.
So I'm looking for input from people who have been using other HRM's and are happy with them.
I just want mine so I can better track my calories burned without relying solely on MFP.

Unfortunately, Polar is the best for calorie counting... so I suggest trying to save up if you can.
Even when set up correctly(age, weight, height, gender) and used for steady state cardio, HRM's are only 80% accurate. If you add Vo2max in and tweak the max heart rate setting, then it can go up a bit.
Main thing that you want in an HRM is that it has a chest strap.. because ones without are not going to be accurate. Also don't want to go too cheap and risk it breaking right away or giving a very inflated calorie count like some of the cheaper models can do.0
