17 Day Diet experiment

Hello all, I have been a health concious MFP user and veteran WW for many years. Over the past few years, my husband has fallen off of the weight loss wagon and has 75 plus pounds to lose. I decided to implement the 17 Day DIet at home, to help hiim lose the weight. He has a super hard time losing unless he has a really rigid specific game plan. I have been journalling all of my food on here to see where I end up at the end of each day...and I am falling short! Not by a little, either! Even when I eat until I am feeling full I barely get to 1150 calories. Then add my activity and I am WAY under! Any advice here? I am frustrated because all of my choices have been great but I hate to be short on calories at the end of the day.
