Protein and sickness

I've been feeling sick a lot recently and the doctor is finding it hard to pinpoint why. I've been eating a higher protein diet and she said it is a possible reason. Has anyone else experienced nausea when having high protein?

Yes, I felt awful. A few years ago I decided to go on the Atkins ban wagon and tried for about 4 days. I have never felt more awful. Now, I just use MFP and eat my 1200 calories daily and supplementing my protein with protein powder after workouts and that has worked well. I have lost 10 pounds in 2 months.:happy:0

I've felt fine, I never tracked anything before and I used to just high protein foods without thinking. Since I've been tracking, I am currently getting around 140g of protein a day. I also have protein shakes or yoghurts on a daily basis.
My dad says protein powders will make me sick, but I've not had any problems with sickness. Hell I've been feeling better since I started eating healthier and eating more protein.0
