help finding book

I'm looking for a book to take on vacation. I'm going to the mountains next week. I like thriller/mystery books, so I was hoping to bring a book that takes place in the mountains. Any suggestions?

Also enjoy a good vampire book, but not Twilight type vampire book. Legit stuff.

    Check out The Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead or if you like Sexy Vampire check out The Brotherhood of Blood, series by Kathryn Smith.

    Not sure about a book set on the mountains, BUT- 13 Bullets by David Wellington is great. It's sort of a crime thriller come vampire horror novel, about Special Deputy Jameson Arkeley (who supposedly wiped out all the vampires years ago) and State Trooper Laura Caxton, who have to hunt down a new wave of vampires running loose in Pennsylvania.
