it doesn't seem like any of these "scientists" can make up their minds about what's actually going on

I'm going to die sometime...I'm going to enjoy my steak.

All four of my grandparents lived to almost 90 and they all ate meat everyday. If anything, in my opinion, it's the chemicals and the hormones that do not naturally occur in meat. Fortunately, we have farmers in the family and eat fresh, grass-fed beef.

This! We raise our own beef and also produce it commercially, trying to keep everything as chemical, antibiotic, hormone free as possible...I'm not afraid to eat ANYTHING that comes off this ranch...it's all YUMMY:happy:

I have to say since nobody can ever make up their minds about what is good and what is bad, Im just gonna eat what Ive been eating and hope for the best.. My grandmother is 93 and a half years old (yes at her age, I count the half years too) and she has always been a meat and potatoes person. she loves her white potatoes, white rice, red meat. she's doing amazing.

Notice how the article says processed meat! Hormone free/organic meat is not covered. Most processed foods is not good for us!

just so you know, scientists who are conducting the research are not using their own personal opinions in the study results. they are reporting on what they find, which may or may not be correct.
to put this in perspective: last year during one of my chem labs, my partner and i determined that the unknown solution were were given contained both iron and lead. based on every single test we carried out, both ions were in the solution. as such, we handed in our report that said that both iron and lead were in the solution. lead was not in the solution, but for some reason, it managed to appear as though it were.
this is what is happening with these studies, except the problem is that the effects/results are not already known.
