Concerned?

I don't know why I keep over stressing this. but I am just concerned I am a) not eating enough calories to lose the weight b) risking my bodies metabolism rate to slow down drastically and c) not eating the right foods.
I've lost more weight since I have begun to make the attempt to eat 1600+ calories. My BMR is 1630, so I try to at least eat that. I am trying less fruits and more veggies as I am consistently going over my sugars every day. I gave up coffee for a while but I just miss it to much. I know the condensed milk is not the best in world, I need to switch that...I cannot have stevia, or any artificial sweeteners of any sort (allergies)
I am 100% faithful about tracking every little thing that enters my lips. I drink 2 32oz bottles of water at least a day. (I don't always remember to track them, but I do drink at least that much
I lose 3.4 pounds the week before last and this week I lost .6lbs (ate cheesecake and dinner out with drinks...) I still need to do my measurements, as that is where I want to concentrate the most. I am 100% happy with my weight loss so far, ecstatic actually
I get concerned because if I look at my goals it says I will lose .6lbs per week. I'm really wanting to lose 1-1.5lbs per week for at least another 10-15 weeks.
Am I just being my typical over analyzer self? Am I doing it right and just need to let it go? I hate when I have this type of feeling, but I don't want to cheat myself out of something, or be doing harm by doing too much.
Thanks.
ETA- Food counts are 100% accurate to my knowledge. I measure with scale for almost everything and cups/spoons for stuff that I don't weigh. I would say 99% of my stuff is weighed, lol

After looking over the last week or so of your diary, your macro breakdowns generally look pretty good. Sometimes your protein is a shade low, but nothing crazy, and it's not every day. You do seem to eat out a fair bit... not a huge deal, but something to keep in the back of your mind. It's much easier to be/get healthy when you are preparing your own foods.
You do seem to have a problem hitting your calorie goal on exercise days, especially when you have big burns. This isn't uncommon, but it's something you'll want to be aware. You don't have to eat every single calorie every day, but netting ~1000 cals isn't usually a good thing. Again, every once in a while it's nothing to worry about... just be aware.
You aren't going to damage your metabolism, don't worry about that (assuming the last week or so of your diary is pretty indicative of your general eating habits).
How much weight do you have to lose? That determines how much you should be aiming to lose each week.
Do I think you are being too hard on yourself? No, not necessarily. Do I think you are worrying about it too much? Yes. Do I think you are, like so many other people, being a bit impatient about the process? Yes.
It does sound like you aren't entirely focused on the scale though, and that's great.0 -
I am working on protein. I found a protein powder that looks like it will work for me, so going to get it and start using it. I'm a bit confused on the eating out part? AFAIK I have ate out a small handful of times. In the very beginning ( Ihop/cheesecake factory and vow never to go that crazy again) and just recently (susi/cheesecake factory). Normally we eat sushi once a week and my daughter gets CFA once per week, but that was even stopped (except yesterday and I tried hard, that nugget and 3 fries left KILLED ME!) My personal goal is to eat out no more than once per month simply because it's a) hard to judge nutrtional info and b) too expensive! Plus I can cook a lot more dinners here that I love a lot more I guess those times can be a lot though, didn't think about that others probably don't eat out at all
Can you clarify net calories? Are those my calories - exercise = net? I'm adapting to the eating back calories. I work out late at night after I eat my meals and I'm usually done for the day. This is when I think a nice protein shake will help me by boosting calories, protein and won't really be making myself sick.
I have about 67 pounds left that I would like to lose. Ideally, I'd like to lose 57-60 more and see where I am, but my doctor has given me a lower weight than that. It's not about weight to me though, because I want to build muscle. I don't want to be skinny fat, at all!
Thanks for the answers. I'm impatient, but not so much anymore. I am genuinely concerned that I am going to be doing more harm to my body than good if I wasn't doing this the right way. It's funny, not once have I thought of this as a diet! I eat a ton of great foods, and still lose weight. This is how I can see the rest of my life being, and it's just much healthier!
As for the scale, I only weigh once per week at gym. I had one at house and did not do well with it here. I became too obsessive. It's better for me this way. Instead, I have a pair of jeans that I am trying to get into. A few more weeks and I think I will be into them, which is making me very happy!
Again, thank you for taking the time to answer. I'm going to keep going at this, work on getting more calories and be happy
PS: I don't count sugars anymore. I was getting so upset at seeing them consistently in the red. Every morning I eat 2-3 different kinds of fruit. I really love fruit but am going to cut back to I think just 1-2 from now on...Anyhow, should I continue to count sugars or just ignore it? I think (?) I am doing okay as far as avoiding "junk" food and high sugary (empty) calorie things?0 -
Won't let me edit, but I just read that net is calories- exercise= net. So like yesterday I ate 1,667 but I burned 865 from exercise, so I only consumed 802? Crap!0
