good exercise ideas beyond treadmill and elliptical

Hi all - I just started doing the Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred and am completely surprised how much I sweat and how sore I am after just a 20 minute workout compared to spending an hour in the gym. I think I am the victim of just doing the same thing day in and day out and now my body is probably not really responding to running on the treadmill and doing elliptical over and over again (even though I do sweat a lot but am not sore afterwards).

Would love any suggestions for other exercises people have had success with - dvds, classes, whatever.

    I think most any workout DVD that's gets your heart rate up for 30 minutes is fine. You could try employing a P90X approach. Set up a schedule of videos, however many you want to do per week and do that rotation for 3 or 4 weeks, then change it up with different videos and a different schedule, and do that for 3 or 4 weeks...and so on. Keep the body guessing and avoid those pesky plateaus. You can probably find all the videos you can handle at your local library. Hope this helps.

    One of the best web is top military workouts. You can go there and find what you want. I combine a lot of it. The combinations and ideas can give you a mix of px90 and crossfit. You have to search, but you can find awesome stuff. Any questions, just ask.
