I'm confused about calories burned.....

So I use the guided weight loss on here but I am having an issue with the calories burned. When I plug in my exercise my actual calories burned is usually double what the projected cals on here are. Now you would think that this would be a good thing but I'm not losing anything so is there a way to adjust cals burned so I know how many cals per day I should actually be eating?? Maybe I need to eat more, maybe less, but I have no way to adjust this setting so I'm stuck......anyone know what I should do??

The daily exercise rate is just a framework for what MFP would like to see you achieve. It can be, or not be, relevant to your actual weight loss.
You should always try to get your "calories remaining" as at the end of the day as close to zero (0) as possible. If you're just starting out, then it will possibly take a little while for your body to adjust depending on what your eating habits have been in the past.
I encourage you to read this article that's on the MFP boards which could give you the right frame of mind on the path to dieting:
