    It's all preference so continue to eat the way you do. I eat twice a day sometimes 3 with the last meal being the biggest and right before I sleep. Gotta keep doing what works for you

    Don't worry about it.

    My coworkers tell me I'm "too skinny" then are amazed that all I do is eat. :)

    Like you, I eat every 2-3 hours:

    7:30 AM
    10:00 AM
    12:00 PM
    3:00 PM
    6:00 PM
    9:00 PM

    And it's not a tiny amount of food each time, either!
    They have no idea how I eat so much and still maintain my weight loss. They don't realize (or don't want to see, which I think more likely) that what I eat is healthy food and I can eat a lot more food than they can because they eat chips/muffins/McDonald's all day.

    Forget 'em and worry about you! They have no say over your life. :)
  • I'm sorry you find it frustrating. I love telling people that I eat all the time and still lose weight. I think that by showing that it allows people to see and understand that losing weight and becoming more healthy does not have to be done by starving yourself. Keep doing what you're doing if it's working for you.

    If eating frequent small meals works for you, do it. But don't mistake that as being the reason you are losing weight. Meal frequency in itself does nothing. It does not keep your metabolism going or anything like that. If it helps a person stick to their calorie goal then do it. If it doesn't, like for people like me who find we are not satisfied with little meals and thus more likely to over eat when doing a bunch of small meal, then don't.

    I have a protein shake at 7pm to last me through the night

    I have had two co-workers comment "it seems like you are always eating"
    I find this frustrating. I stay within my calorie range, I just eat often throughout the day and never have one really big meal.

    Ummm who cares what other people think! Screw them! You know what you are doing and you are doing it right! That's all that matters!
