I prefer skim milk. I've tried Silk and I don't like it. I can just about tolerate it on cereal, but as a beverage? No thanks. I have no sensitivty to dairy, so I just stick to skim.

I'm not sure which is better for you, but I prefer Silk personally. I like the taste and it doesn't coat my throat/cause a coughing fit like milk sometimes can.

I work for a child care resource and referral and we are also a food program sponsor. The food program doesn't allow skim milk (or any cow's milk) to be substituted with any soy or almond milk because none on the market have the nutritional equivalent of cow's milk. So if you just want to know which one has more vitamins and minerals, that would be skim milk.

Silk almond milk is my fave! : ) I will say though, I was surprised that it has a LOT less protein than regular/skim milk.
I usually just buy almond milk as the occasional "treat" and use skim milk for my every day usage . . with cereal, etc.

soy, rice and almond are all good on cereal ... but if you're not a fan of the taste of milk use the flavored ones like vanilla.

    Almond Breeze > Silk
Milk tastes like udders now. Trust me, you will not miss that taste. And almond milk is queen.
