Where exactly do you measure your stomach and hips? I've been measuring my stomach at my belly button. I've also been measuring the "muffin top".

Waist measurement is one inch above your navel. Belly is at navel level. Hips are the widest part of your hips.0

I measure multiple spots, since MFP lets you add as many as you would like. I have a 'B' stomach so I measure the widest part above the waist, widest below, then at my natural waist (narrowest part- for me it is about 1 inch above my navel). For the hips I measure at the hip-bone and the widest part of my hips above the gluteal fold (bottom of your buttocks).
I find measuring in multiple places lets me see changes that I might otherwise miss.0
