Some of you may remember me posting (only just last week) "too full to eat my cals"
This is mainly a post for those trying to up their cals to tell them what worked for me .... I have no idea if what I'm doing is right, but I'm trying it anyway and my way
To re-cap I was on average 850-950 cals a day, I would drop as low as 600 - 650 allot of days and only ever got over 1000 if I had a drink on the weekend (drink is what pulled my average up):blushing: .... If I ate any more than I was I would feel ill and would want to be sick (tummy feeling way too full) .........For the record I was losing weight on these cals and was fit and healthy for it, also I done reg exercise of some sort every day .... but I know eating this low was going to be bad for my health in the long term so I asked for help and ideas to up my cals.
Thanks to the friendly members of the site I got some fantastic help :flowerforyou:
Basically I was looking for "good choices" that would up my cals for a little food, I couldn't fit any more in :-/
here's the ideas I got and the cals involved ...
Sultanas, 10 g 30cals
Tropical Island mix 30g 98cals
Cashew nuts , 10 g 58 cals
Pistachio nuts, 10 g 58 cals
Pumpkin seeds, 3 g 18 cals
Sesame seeds, 3 g 19cals
Sunflower seeds, 3 g 18cals
Walnuts, 10 g 71cals
you could also try a glass of milk
Thanks to those who helped me out, I am able to eat 1200 daily now, however the only change i see in myself (baring in mind its only about 5 daysI have been doing this) I sometimes feel a little hungry .... I forgot what hunger felt like, I find it strange since I have upped my cals not lowered them ....
so if you read this far and you could give me any insight into why I am am now feeing hungry even thou my cals are much higher than they were, it would be appreciated ...

I'm glad to hear you are eating more now. Your body will thank you in the long run. It's not really surprising that you are feeling hungry now. If I were you I would consider re-calculating your MFP goal and choose 1lb a week to get a high calorie limit . I know it seems weird but you can eat more, feel full, and still lose weight at a decent pace.
Your food suggestions are very good. I would add peanut butter and avocado's to that list. They are yummy, healthy and calorie dense.0 -
That's your metabolism saying THANK YOU!!!! Hunger is a great thing to be feeling right now. You are on the right track, mama!!!0

still not tasted avacado (although that was one of the suggestions)... tescos didnt have any
peanut butter yum ... ive yet to find one of the natural types i was pointed out they might be just what I need for my next 100 cal add lol
I plan on slowly upping the cals I am happy only to lose 1lb a week (or less). A loss is a loss regardless of its size.... I was struggling to eat more due to being so full so ... so Ill just have to go slow maybe in a month or so ill be up to 1500 ....
Ill just let my body tell me what I need to do0 -
