I headed out for my first post-op run. I did a nice easy 1/2 mile. :drinker: I would have loved to do more but I'm guessing I'll wait until I get the all clear from my surgeon:embarassed:

I'm glad you are able to get out there and start running a bit again. That first run coming back from being "out" is awesome isn't it.

I am hoping for 3 miles today, after weight lifting and playing basketball for about an hour.

I bought the book "The Extra Mile: One Women's Journey to Ultr-Running Greatness". I haven't started reading it yet though.

Thanks for all the advice/opinions on frequency of runs vs. distance!
No run today, just some total body circuit weights. I planned on cycling but hubby had a flight change so need to go to the airport.
    Doing 2 runs tomorrow.
    Have a good Monday!

    Hi everyone.

I've been MIA for a few days, but I've been keeping up with my running. I have a few weeks before I begin training for the half that I'm doing in September, so I'm just taking it easy and running whatever I feel like running that particular day - as long as I keep it at 4 miles or more.

    Saturday - 6.5 miles
    Sunday - 6.6 miles
Monday - 6.6 miles with the jog stroller and 31 lbs of kid.

Hope you all had a good weekend!

Still just beginning running on my end. Working my way through C25k. 3.81 miles of intervals yesterday.
