I prefer the "If you can't beat them, get them drunk" strategy. We were in a four-man sand tournament and the top seeded team was killing everybody (but also drinking between rounds). They ran out of beer, I made sure they knew where the closest store was (we were in a dry county, so you had to know your way around). By 7pm, and the finals, they were pretty lit. We took first.
