Fairly new

I am fairly new to MFP. I have been using the app on my phone and have managed to lose 10 pounds in the last 8 weeks. I'm a little cautious about interacting with new people. But I think I need to broaden my horizons and try something new. Any advice you can offer would be great.

    I was like that at first here too... then I braved the forums, and found a TON of support. I'm friends with those that have similar goals and are very active on here. I've received tips and advice, and a "Good job" or "Stay strong" when needed.

    You don't have to friend everyone..but it really does help to find people like you. JMTC

    Welcome to MFP, I have been using this app since Jan and I love it. Recently I have aquired a bunch of new friends, who I dont actually know, just other people like me trying to hit the same goals. I find I get alot of motivation and support from everyone. You're more then welcome to add me :)

    I'm 28, married with two young kids, my Son is 3 and my daughter will be 8 months on the 21st :)

    I was a bit the same to, but it does really keep you focused and motivated when you get a well done or WTG from your MFP buddies :-).
