I have been getting hungry every night about 10 o'clock when I am trying to go off to sleep.Am on 1350 calories and not exercising much. I go and get a healthy snack and end up going over by 200-300 calories. I am a big advocate of ' listen to your body. So what do you think? I have of course slowed my loss down.I am changing my eating habits to mostly meatless and more grains legumes veggies and fruits.

I know Legumes are quite high in protein, but it really depends on much you are trying to eat to reach your calorie goal.

Is it possible you could open your food diary to see what the problem could be? Are you drinking enough fluids? Sometimes hunger pains could be mistaken for being thirsty and not hungry.
  • I complained of the same thing! Ppl have said to have a few calories for a snack, but that's really hard! I already used 1120 of mine and I haven't even eaten dinner, ahhhh!!!!! I HAVE to go to the gym now :(
I think that the key for both of us is going to be more fiber really. Otherwise, your guess is as good as mine, sorry!!

You could try changing up the snack. Try 80 calories worth of fresh pepper strips. The bulk alone will probably help you feel sated.

sounds like "meatless" is the problem..

I don't eat that much red meat and it's hard for me to get chicken/turkey or other meats that I like so I am constantly low on protein even though I try to have almonds/peanut butter and stuff like that.. but I always find that I stay full whenever I eat meat/protein at every single meal. i used to just have protein at lunch, none at dinner.. but that made me hungry all the time!!

just a thought! I also struggle with the same thing sometimes!
