How long/hard are you working out to burn 1,000+ calories?

1000 calories is pretty commonplace for me during 50+ minutes of P90X plyometrics. I've burned close to 1200.
I'm 6'1" and about 238 lbs. I started at 288.
If you want to get the generator going, plyo is the "mother."0 -
another way to burn 1000 per day is break it up into 10 workouts that equal 100 calories each. Some days I just don't have time for 1 giant workout but I set my heart rate monitor for a 100 calories and start do the steps, march or run in place, do sit-ups and push -ups, jump on the eliptical, get out the hula hoop....the possibilities are endless.0

I'm doing boot camp right now, and my physical trainer said that I would burn at least 600 calories from that. It's not 1000, but it's a great workout!0

I do P90X plyo and have never burned 100 cals, maybe 600. Actually, I burn more cals doing hills on my bike (700+ per hour).0

The only time I burn 1,000+ cals is a long run or bike ride. I have a Polar F6 HRM.
I guess that's one drawback to being in good shape and at my goal weight, I burn less cals but that's ok with me! :bigsmile:0
