I teach 7th grade. With that, comes all the trappings of dealing with adolescents. One particular student from last year was quite a pill, even going so far as to call me a f***ing b***h in class. Today as I was heading to the cafeteria for lunch duty, he looks at me and says, "Mrs. F., don't take this the wrong way, but did you lose weight? Like, a lot?" I responded that I had lost over 12 pounds and he comes back with, "That's really good!" Oh, how I love my job!
