Okay so I buy a lot of clothes in my goal weight size.. so many that I will have a brand new wardrobe when I hit my goal. I have been doing this for the last year or so.

I just hate hate hate shopping for clothes in my current size.... and I really hate going to stores and trying on clothes since the weight gain.. I mostly buy clothes online and most of the goal size clothes I have bought are from Victorias Secret.. mostly tops and dresses.. they have some really cute clothes there!! :)

I never buy pants in my goal size because that would be much harder to guess the size I would need.. it's easy to buy tops and dresses tho because most are sized S, M, L, XL etc...

I was working on a medical office for 6 years until recently so really my daily wardrobe consisted of scrubs so I guess I just haven't been forced to buy new clothes in my current size for a while.

Does anyone else do this?? I never tell people that I do this because I feel like such a weirdo!!

I don't usually do this, but I found this really cute pair of jeans that were too small, but I really wanted them! I bought them and 6 months later they fit!

You are going to have a great time wearing all those new clothes before you know it!

I just did it this weekend I bought a pair of pants? I'm guessing a couple more pounds and they will fit.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this!

I use it as motivation too but also because I see super cute things and don't want to buy them in my size because I'm not planning to be this size for too much longer! I feel like if I buy clothes in my current size then I am accepting that I will be this size forever!

I can't wait to wear all of my new clothes! Hopefully by the end of this year

I had a friend who bought a small dress and hung it on the back of her door as a reminder. Every time she looked at it she found new motivation. I'm not sure this would work for me, but I like the idea.

I've never bought things that won't fit at all, but I have bought things that I can get into and wear, but which are ever-so-slightly tight, and I know they will be much more comfortable when I'm just a bit smaller. Then I can wear them and have a good reminder about what and why I'm doing.

    I have a pair of shorts I love but I can't get into them just yet...but I will :)
  • I've never done it, mostly because it's too difficult to tell where I'll be. I have a smaller waist now than I did when I was 20 lbs. lighter, and the places I carry my weight has changed dramatically over the last few years. I envy those who can predict!
