HELP! I have fallen off the wagon so hard I don't even know where the wagon is anymore! I just moved on the first of the month to the city where all of my friends are, where things stay open late, and hwere there is junk food and beer at every corner! Since moving I've completely lost track of what I'm eating, I've run only one time, and water has been no where in sight. Not to mention I am supposed to be training for my first half marathon in august.

I need some motivation big time...like a big swift kick in the *kitten* kind of motivation. I was doing so well before I moved and I feel like I can't get back in control.

Please send some kind words :frown:

    :swift kick in the *kitten*:

lol. Just try and take it one day at a time. that's been the advice given to me. Also, exercising when you want that cheeseburger makes it less appealing..

Or brush your teeth. I find a clean mouth makes me not want to eat.

I also had a tip given to me of painting my nails when I'm hungry. Surprisingly, it worked. I have no desire to get chip residue on my pretty new nails!

    Lol!

    Hope this helps. :)

Run as fast as you can go the wagon and get back on!! Find a running club to join, or someone to run with to motivate you to keep getting out there. It's ok to fall off once in a while, and now you realized it just get back on.
  • Sounds like you need to get your friends on the wagon with you...That way you can help keep eachother in line.:flowerforyou: GOOD LUCK!!!:flowerforyou:

    ...No wagon...just life!
If you recommit yourself to dieting or losing weight, you may likely find yourself back where you are today.
But if you recommit yourself for doing better and being better to yourself for your body and your mind, that's what sticks!
Not every day is perfect, but it's all a learning experience.
Be as healthy as YOU can be!
    Much luck, you'll do great!
