Am I excercising enough?

Hi! I joined a gym the end of last week. My plan as right now is to go to the gym 4 days a week. 3 days during the week and 1 day on the weekend. I am trying to do 45 minutes on the treadmill and just started trying to add the eliptical. I can only do like 2 minutes on the eliptical. My goal is to try to add 30 seconds to the eliptical everytime I go to the gym.

I was wondering if I am getting enough excercise?

    Any workout is good. maybe if it doesn't feel like you are, add a walk on the two days rest?

    That sounds like a good place to start.
    Does your gym offer any support when you first start - why not ask if they will give you a program that includes some strength training as well as the treadmill?
