i love to get my cardio done in the morning as i am a busy mother once i am off work ( i have a desk job. )

why eat high carb throughout the day if u use carbs mainly for energy? i am obviously eating too much protein a day from what mfp people here tell me, because i thought it'd be the best way to go since i get my workouts only in the morning..

Trying to micromanage energy sources is somewhat silly in my opinion. It is also silly to try and manage the acute processes of fat storage or fat oxidation.

Your only concern should be trend over time and not the short term effects. To accomplish this, make sure that you're eating in a calorie deficit and for body composition purposes, make sure you're eating adequate protein (and dietary fat for hormones/etc).

Do this, and fat oxidation will exceed fat storage over the course of time, regardless of short term fluctuations.

carbs get turned into glucose in the body.. and if not used. into glycogen and stored into the muscles and liver.

You are going to drive yourself crazy trying to do everything that everyone on MFP tells you to do. Why? Because there are about a million + 1 different philosophies on how to lose weight.

If you want to do low carb, high protein, go for it. It's not going to hurt you, regardless of what other MFPers have to say.

I personally don't like low carb diets- they make me miserable. I also don't think they are the best, but that doesn't mean you'd be wrong to try it. Do what you want. It might be a good strategy for you.

Likewise, if you want to eat carbs all day, go for it.

To lose weight, you need to maintain a calorie deficit. Anything else is just icing on the cake... pick the type of icing you want and give it try for a month or two.

Now.... if you want to do more than just lose weight... (as in you want to maintain muscle mass while you diet and/or optimize your health), then you should probably pick an icing that gives you a balanced array of nutrients. I personally try for at least 120 grams of protein a day, and I fill in the rest of my calories with carbs and fats.

simply put moderation is key! Some people i know completely cut carbs out and thats simply not right.
    1. carbs first energy source used by body
    2. Carbs= glucose- ONLY source of energy your brain uses!

so what I suggest is play around a bit everything in moderation and find what works best for you :)
