Who has experience with these? I have started Jamie Eason and I like it but it has went to 5 days a week and I am starting to get overwhelmed because I am also training for a 1/2 marathon. I want to lift and lift heavy but I can really only commit 3 days right now. Any advice?

I am doing NROLFW now and I think it is great. In the book they suggest to only do 3 of their workouts a week (rest day in between weight lifting workouts) which could be perfect for you.0

I just waited until I was done with my half to focus on lifting again. I tried doing P90x and training for the half at the same time and it was just an insane amount of time to spend working out... Also, they kind of cancel each other out, you know?
Better just to focus on getting your race training the best it can be and then worry about lifting heavy later when you can cut back on the cardio.
Good luck on your race

What she said. I've done a little bit of both and like them both, but you training and lifting will probably be counterproductive.0 -
if i'm not mistaken jamie's program works a lot of the smaller muscles separately where as NROL4W you do more compound movements.
i think it's also going to depend on how often you like lifting. i personally like doing full body workouts so i know jamie's program isnt going to be something i'd like doing since she splits them up by day.0 -
Ive been wondering this exact thing!0

I don't know Jamie's program but I've been doing NR and training for a half...but I also still have 35 lbs to lose and my half isn't until October. I just do NR twice a week and it's been fine for my purposes. I do plan to cut out any heavy lifting for about 12 wks prior to my half.0
