Hello Everyone!!!
I must warn you I wrote what appears to be an essay :blushing: Sorry and thank you in advance.
I'm excited to be here!!! I weighed myself about 2 days ago while getting my husbands medication after his tooth extraction. I weighed 215 lbs which is not good for someone who is only 4'11" (and a half>>>yes I count the half don't take that away from me please!!!)
So enough is enough!!! I am the only one in charge of my health and I don't think I'm doing great at this time. But I can't dwell on the past. I need to focus on the future.
How did it get so out of hand. Honestly I don't know per say. Well maybe the last 15 lbs was after my mother left my dad and attempted to take 100%, and I had two cousins murdered, one was 15 and he was buried on Mothers Day, and my other cousin was murdered in October (both are unrelated and from different sides of the family but it seems they were at the wrong place at the wrong time). I did not know how to handle all this stress properly and I gained weight.
But over the years I think the main culprit of my gain weight is my sweet tooth, I love my sweet drinks (SUPER SUGARY COFFEE and my snacks).
I'm a vegetarian so my regular meals are not horrible but my snacking is not helping me and I haven't exercised regularly in a while.
My dream goal is 100 lbs so I would weigh about 115 (its a good goal for my height but I'm not going to be fixated on that) but I remember I felt comfortable and beautiful at 140 couldn't lose more than 75 lbs I could live with that.
If you've stuck along this long I truly appreciate it and maybe we can be friends within this community.
