I Blew it this week!!!

This week for some reason just seemed to go down hill from tues to fri:grumble: My weather here was awful:angry: but I did go to the gym on monday and eat pretty well, but after that it just went wrong. Tues I stayed home with my daughter cause of the weather:grumble: and the only exercise I did was running in place for 15min so at least I did that but for food intake was kinda bad but not as bad as the rest of the week. It seemed like I just wanted to eat bad food on wed,thurs, and fri. Plus I also had some drinks on thurs night with my school group. I did go to the gym on thurs and fri but I know I did not workout as hard as I could have:grumble: :explode:
Well I better stop eventing that you for reading and listening it did help, I'll do better next week.

  • Sometimes that just happens. Try not to beat yourself up too much about it. Just go on from here. Hopefully you will have a much better week this time. My workplace is always laying out the tempting goodies, but I have found that logging everything on here has really helped me to have better will power. Best of luck to you this week!

    Yesterday was a BAD day for me....it was a co-worker's birthday, so I baked a triple chocolate cake that is wonderful and rich......if I had stopped at one piece, I would have been OK, but I just HAD to have a piece in the afternoon with my tea. I scarfed down a large piece, then got really mad at myself because I realized I didn't even enjoy it and wasted hundreds of calories on it and ended up w/ a sour stomach to boot!!! :noway: Lesson learned......make sure I REALLY want it before I eat it!

    back on track today!
  • don't worry, me too. I had a lot of reasons to eat out and while I tried to make the best decisions not everything went according to plan. It's okay! A new week is just around the corner!
  • Totally don't worry.
    I did this last night.
    T.O.M. was following me around, and just absolutely FORCED ME :wink: to eat at Applebees.
    SO I went over by about 1500 calories yesterday.
    Don't worry, it happens.
    Just move on.
    It's another day.
    Go take a walk.

  • This is all so timely for me- I too, had a terrible week. A lot of trouble controlling my hunger, and cravings- even stopped tracking my food for a few days! When I tried to to a rough calculation it was so far over that it didn't seem worth it. But, I did make notes at the bottoms of the food diary pages, like- "really bad food day, feeling down, and lonely. Over ate at two meals, snacked in between, and ate a big dessert- ugh."
    I think this site is really supportive, and it helps to see that others are struggling. And to remember that if this was an easy journey we wouldn't have been struggling for so long!
