Question about my fast weight loss.

Let me start off with a few things. I'm doing "insanity." I started Fed 4. I had to leave town for a week and a half, consequently I haven't even finished my first month of "Insanity" yet. I also run 3-4 times a week.
I'm 6'4", I was 282 lbs when I started. I'm using MFP for dieting, but I am using the Insanity Shake formulas. I've weighed myself tonight and I'm 250.6lbs. In my mind the weight loss is insane and I'm curious to know if anyone else here has had rapid weight loss. My goal was 225lbs and its sight but the rapid weight loss is a little strange to me(this is my first time dieting.) Is this around the time it may slow down or should I expect to keep trucking along at a decent pace?

I'm not familier with 'insanity' but if you have made huge changes to your diet and calorie intake then this is not uncommon. The closer you get to your goal, the slower the weight loss will be.0

Ok cool, Insanity is a program by beachbody, same people who make p90x. Its 95% cardio and its definately a lot easier now.
I'm just trying to find out what to expect in this weight loss journey of mine.0 -
Water weight, I believe, is also a big factor in your weight loss. The first few weeks are when you lose the most. I lost 14 lbs my first 2 weeks and questioned it but it seems to be quite normal when you weigh much more than you should. Plus I also read on this board that any weight you put on in the few months prior to your lifestyle change is going to come off very easily. If you are very worried though, a doctor visit could be in order to see whats going on.0
