Milk!

Hello, I'd like to get your opinions on milk. I drink both dairy and non-dairy forms of milk, in Switzerland (where I live) there aren't nearly as many non-dairy healthy options as in other countries, so this question mostly pertains to dairy milk. I currently drink skim milk (and some light soy milk, whenever I can get over to Germany to buy it) but I see that a cup of skim has only 25 or so calories less than 1.5% milk; which has made me question if skim milk is really worth it, given that milk (in moderation) is a source of other nutrients. I don't have much fat in my diet as I'm pescetarian (vegetarian, but eat fish maybe once a week) and need to constantly watch my protein, iron and other nutrients; so I guess my question is, those people that have researched milk- which is the best one to drink in your opinion, and what do you drink?

Since I have started eating healthier, I sometimes get whole milk (3.25%) instead of skim.
    I stay in my calories.
Indulging in a glass of whole milk is better than indulging in a bowl of ice cream.

In U.S. everyone says buy organic bc there are so many hormones in "regular" milk.
I buy organic sometimes, but it is so expensive.

I use full fat for everything diary, mainly because my eldest daughter is still at an age where she needs the fat from the full fat. I do have some almond milk, because I prefer the taste of it with my protein powder. I do actually prefer the taste of skim milk, but there is limited room in the fridge.

I've been drinking skim for at least 15 years now. Even 2% seems too thick for me now!

This is interesting! Thanks for all your opinions. The hormones in America are very serious, but of course, it's not like money grows on trees. Here in Switzerland, drinking whole milk is the norm and "fat reduced" milk is considered 1.5% (it's not even called milk, it's called " Milk Drink" which is probably more accurate as there is so much extra water). I've just bought some 1.5%, but might go up to 2.5% in a few weeks if I feel like it's worth it. It seems so strange, but the calorie addition isn't all that much in the end. I'd love some more opinions regardless.
