No calories for weight training

Does anyone find it weird that we get no calories for the weight training we do? Does anyone know why?

Add "strength training" in as a cardio exercise and you will get a very small allotment. The section at the bottom is just for tracking your reps and progress. If it's really that important to you to know exactly, then you need to get a heart rate monitor.0

I create my own exercise, which is an option on your "my exercises" page. Using an online workout calculator, I figure out how many calories the workout burned. I usually use the one on the Self magazine website. I just checked and it includes an option for weightlifting. (I usually do circuit-style workouts with compound moves and don't even bother with the section for tracking reps.)0
