What if we consume excess protein then required daily?

Not a problem at all and the original goal set by MFP is low anyway.0

If your over on you calories, excess anything turns into fat.0

I changed my MFP goals for Carbs/Protein/Fat to 40%/40%/20% because I worked with a nutritionist. MFP Protein goals are way way too low for most people. Even more so if you are exercising and want to maintain muscle.0

It depends on what your goals are. If you are trying to build or maintain lean muscle, nothing will do it like protein (as long as your keeping overall calories in check).0
