An 80% uphill 2.25 miles, flipped around did the same route DOWNHILL  so a total of 4.5
Running with a friend after she gets off work, probably another 3, so today could be my new longest distance! :noway:
I definitely don't warm up until the 2nd mile then I feel like I could go forever.
Y'all really should warn us newbies that running can become highly addictive!
Happy running everyone! (I so can't believe I am using those 2 words in the same sentence!)

No clue on the distance, but Week 9 Day 1 of Couch to 5K (30 minute run) is in the bag. That is a definite first but it sure won't be a last!

HI everyone! I am crazed right now b/c had company until today and tomorrow at 11, my best friend and her fam are landing for a 5 night stay!!!!!!!!!! So much to do, so little time... but DID find time to run 8.25 miles yesterday and 8 miles today. Probably won't have time to run before heading to get them tomorrow... and then my hubby and I are off to Vegas on Friday!!!!!!!!! My best friend is staying here at our house to watch our baby while we can get away. I'm so happy/anxious/nervous. It'll be a good thing, indeed!

Four this morning. It was a beautiful morning here. I run through a local park, and this morning two does walked right in front of me. So breathtaking.

I only ran 2 miles today because I had to work a little over this evening.

But I tried to push myself. It's my road route and it's pretty hilly. I ran about a 7:40 mile.

Tomorrow should be a good day of lifting and I plan to get in a 6 mile run!

    Seven today.

Running a 5K race tomorrow night. Free pasta dinner and beer at the end of the race - I'll run 3 miles for some grub and drink anyday!

I was short on time today so I went down to the 5K race that I'll be a part of in June and scoped it out and ran a distance. First time not wearing a watch and watching the time so that was a major accomplishment. Scary part of the course---I have to run next to a river and go up a huge ramp at one point! Eeeek!
  • wow, GOOD job everyone! I am a begginner runner and I can barly get 2 miles done at a time. Hopefully one day I will work up to the 5 mile mark, which is my goal eventually!

I did not get any excersize in today, Wendsdays are my days off! Tomarrow I plan on doing a 1.5 mile run on the treadmil, then resting for some strenght training, then doing another 1.5 mile! Hopefully doing a 3 mie walk/jog w/ hubby in the early hours of the morning too!
