IS MY HRM ACCURATE??

My friends call me the cardio queen, I love the treadmill, elliptical or stairmachine. I always keep record of my calories, distance, speed etc...
I recently bought a heart rate monitor watch. I used it for the first time today....
I walked on the treadmill today at a 3.7 speed and 11 incline. The treadmill says I burned 426 calories but my HRM calculated 802. I understand the watch is constantly reading my heart rate but to almost double my calorie burn??
Which can I consider more accurate?? I dont want to cheat myself or think Im doing more than I actually am. The HRM has my age, sex and weight programed in....

What kind of heart rate did u use? I have the polar HR and i think its pretty accurate...0
