What in place of push ups?

I pulled a muscle in my lower left abdomen a couple weeks ago doing an exhaustion test with push ups. I just tried to fit some in today and could only get 5 in when my abdomen started to hurt pretty bad again. Getting into plank postion is pretty much impossible right now.
What other exercises can I do that will help me keep my stamina with the push ups while I wait for my abdomen recover?
