First off I am 3 days with NO CIGARETTES, YAY!!  That's a MAJOR accomplishment for me as of recently.

So I have run on my treadmill for a few years and would get out of the house to run occasionally when I could (3young kids) and I didn't have a jogging stroller. Well I got one as a "just because" gift the other day from my boyfriend because I've been looking at them for a while now. He is in the military so he has lot's of stamina. He can run miles without stopping.

Monday- My b/f and I and my kids went for a 20min run in our neighborhood, I had to slow after running consecutively for about 5min to walk and catch my breath.
Tuesday- The same as Monday
Wednesday-We didn't run (rest day)
Yesterday- I ran twice, once while he was at work and I only had to slow to a walk twice AND I ran all the way up a hill without stopping, the same hill ALL week I've had to stop at least half way through to walk the remaining half. I ran all the way up it!! I couldnt believe it. I had to show him when he got home, so we did it again, without fail.

(NSV) Today-(I walk my kids too and from school) I decided to run back from dropping them off and I ran half of my route without slowing. Which means when he gets home today and we go run I'll probably only have to slow down once... AND HOPEFULLY next week I'll be running our whole route without slowing!!
It is AMAZING how quickly you can build endurance, for those of you who think you can't, You can!!
Have a great weekend.

Just quitting smoking is something to be proud of! Keep up the good work running, before you know it you'll be hooked and signing up for a race (it's addictive but in a good way)

Thank you  I haven't said anything to anyone about "quitting" because I didn't know if I could and I was just gonna go for it, plus I didn't want to put a "label" on it. So I'm just going with the flow. Running everday now makes me not want one at all though. I even had 2 glasses of wine last nite without having one  GO ME!

I already signed up for a mud run in the fall ;) So we're preparing for that!! It's my first BIG running goal.
