insatiable hunger in the afternoon!

I just ate lunch. Why am I so hungry? This doesn't happen after breakfast or dinner.
Just to give you a run-down of my typical planned eating: I eat breakfast everyday at about 8:30a, usually whole grain oatmeal with a packet of Splenda and some cinnamon, and a like half a apricot or something. I'll also have unsweetened green tea and a banana. That holds me over until lunch, which I have at about noon.
I usually have a pretty balanced lunch. Today I had salmon, broccoli and zucchini, and a quarter of a baked (microwaved) sweet potato and water. I drink a lot of water while I eat. Like 2-3 glasses. I'm full after that. But then I'm super duper hungry. I also pack snacks--baby carrots, an apple, a clementine, a blood orange, a nectarine. I've already demolished the carrots, the apple, and the clementine, and I'm hungry again. It's like the snack will satiate my appetite for a little while, but then I'm super hungry again in like 20 minutes. This also affects my focus and I get slight headaches. I also have unsweetened green tea in the afternoon.
I love sweets, too. I don't pack them for work (or keep them in my house) but sometimes I will go out for like a cookie or something in the afternoon. I do find it very satisfying and gets me feeling right again. I've also tried having a little oatmeal instead, which is almost as satisfying. Could it maybe a problem of low blood sugar? Anyone feel insatiable in the afternoon?

Sounds like you need some protein instead of the simple sugars you're getting from all that fruit. Try some greek yogurt or peanut butter on celery sticks instead and see if that fixes what ails ya.0
