Just before i start i am in England if it makes any difference to those across the pond lol.

Every year i go to a party for the eurovision song contest. and each year all of us get given a country at random for which we must provide a local drink and food though if none of them appeal something to do with the country instead.
it is quite a good laugh but this year i have got Montenegro.
I can't for the life of me think of any food or drink for that country although i now know it translates to Black mountain.

If anyone knows of a cocktail or mixer that could be descibed as, or even remotely looks like, a black mountain please post here i will be forever in your debt.
if all else fails i'll have to settle for guiness (the head can be the snow on top of the mountian lol).

ps
ditto for food lol.
Thanks goes to anyone who can help
Ben

    What about a spiked type of coffee with the foam on top? I dunno...I just wanted to tag this to see what everyone else comes up with. :bigsmile:

    Along the Guiness line, a Irish Car Bomb...

    irish_car_bomb.jpg

    * 1/2 oz. Irish Cream (Bailey's)
    * 1/2 pint Stout (Guinness)
    * 1/2 oz. Whiskey, Irish (Jameson)

    Glass to Use
    Beer MugBeer Mug
    Mixing Instructions

    Pour half a pint of chilled Guinness into a beer mug and let it settle. Take a shot glass filled with 1/2 oz. of Irish whiskey on the bottom and 1/2 oz. of Irish cream on top. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and chug.

    Don't know if that's what you're thinking, but have fun/good luck! :drinker:

    You can find information about the foods of Montenegro there!

    It says the most common non-alchoholic drink is pomegranate syrup! That is an easy juice to use to make cocktails. I have made this before, and it is really good:

    Oprah's Favorite Pomegranate Martini recipe
    1 oz vodka
    1/2 oz Cointreau orange liqueur
    3 oz pomegranate juice
