I am going to begin Jillian's 30 Day Shred in the morning. I was just wondering, how many people had success with this workout? I know its going to be hard, I fast forwarded through it to see what I was in for....it looks easy but everything I have read suggest otherwise..LOL...I'm up for the challenge. I was just hoping to hear some success stories about the workout.

I was doing it for two weeks straight and was totally getting shredded! I got sick and had to stop, but I'll be starting up again here soon..... Just as soon as I'm completely back to my old self.

    Good LUCK!!!!

 The first couple of days you will feel like you want to die. Seriously, you can barely move. It works your whole body. I stuck with it and on day 5 I the soreness went away. After about 10 days I noticed a significant difference in body toneness. It is an incredible workout. I love it!

I actually do mine for free. If you have comcast cable you can do exercises on the ondemand for free! They have a lot of different ones to try.

I love it. The first day is your hardest, I was swearing the whole time--and you will be sore-but just keep at it....After that it does get easier. I've only been doing it for 10 days straight, but I feel a lot better.... I got mine at Target for $13.00, but Wal-mart has it online and you can do the site to store ship for free and it's only around $8.00....

This is actually the first workout video I have ever been able to stick with! I get up at 5am before work and do it... And it's only a 20 minutes workout--25-30 after all the talking....Makes you feel good for the day!!! Good luck---just stick with it, it will get easier.... I'm only on level one, so I'm sure level two and three will be hard at first too....I haven't even looked forward!

Do you do all the Levels in one workout?

How do you know when to go to the next level?

this is all so inspiring! i lost 10lbs on MFP and quickly gained it back (totally my fault). looking for something to add to my routine and i think this might be the kick in the pants that i need!

i wish i had cable now. i do not. :indifferent: yea, crazy i know - just trying to pay the billz!

I just do one level, and I think that's what most people do.... 3 levels would probably kill me! When your ready to move on...move on. I think I'm going to do level one for 2 weeks (4 more days) and then try to up it to level 2, do that for 2 weeks, and up it to level 3.... At least that's my plan....We'll see how that pans out!

On the recommendations, they just say to move when your ready....

I don't have Cable either.... Good to know I'm not the only one left out there! We just aren't home enough to get the use out of it for the money!

Just a suggestion....If you order from Walmart and use site-to-store shipping, it will take awhile. I ordered mine from Amazon on Saturday. It shipped the same day and I'm anxiously waiting for it to arrive any day now.

You can check out more about 30 day shred on youtube. There are tons of videos and you can see what you're in for.:noway:

It's amazing! If you stick with it and get through the first few days of soreness you'll see such a difference!

ok so I literally just finished level 1 of the JM 30 day shred...wow, I knew I was out of shape but not that bad...I barely got through it. I need to get some lighter hand weights. all I had was 8lbs...so I ended up dropping them about half way into the work out...too much too soon for the 8 pounders. I'm sweating, so thats good right...LOL

I really want this DVD. I am looking for a challenging workout that I can do at home on the nights I don't go to the gym.

I did 6 weeks with BL Boot Camp, then on april 29 bought and started Shred (got at target $12). On monday I started level 2. When I stopped swearing at Jillian I moved on to level 2. I think the cardio is harder in level 2 but thats about it. I love the DVD. Its quick, I feel great (after I catch my breath).

I'm losing about the same amount of weight 2.5-3lbs a week, but I'm losing more inches with shred.

    Don't give up!!!

I started shredding on Monday with my 15 year old dd and her best friend. They are both varsity athletes in multiple sports and it kicked their butts. They were laughing at first..."jumping jacks...really?" ha ha ha not so funny by that last set, they were both sweating and panting as much as I was. HA HA HA girls, lol.

I am so sore all over! I really am expecting great results. I know I feel better already.

I got mine for $8.00 on the WM website and had it shipped site to store. They said it would take 10 days for shipping and it really only took about 3. Well worth picking up.

I'd be up for a challenge. Are we going to do measurements and weight?

I ordered the shred off Amazon and waited (not so) patiently until it arrived. I was so excited to get started last week and then I got sick! UGH! I have a bronchial infection and am on pennicilan so figured I shouldn't work out that hard if I can barely breathe! I'm hoping to start it any day now though and would LOVE to join in with others who are just starting too! I've got about 15-20 lbs I want to lose by summer and more importantly I want to lose the jiggle and the muffin top! From what I hear, Jillian can help me do that!

Congrats demezat on doing (and completing) your first workout! And to be able to laugh about how much it hurt is a good sign! I hope I can do it too! Maybe we should buddy up together? I'll let you know if I feel up to trying it today or tomorrow and we'll compare!

    Good Morning Everyone!

Well I am up for the Shredded Challenge!

I started yesterday and just got done day 2. I find that the push ups are what kill me the most! I wasn't as sore as I thought I would be but when I started to workout again this morning thats when I started to feel it!

    I burned 188 calories in 27mins!

    Have a great day,
    Jenn

I lost several inches and pounds doing it. I did other workouts too, but it definitely works!

I'm up for a challenge!!! I need to get my rear in gear exercising again. I still have two papers to write for a class but once I finish those, I'm free to exercise again while my daughter is napping!!! I guess I'll start today.... I have to say, once you get past the exhaustion of doing her workouts, don't stop. The thought of starting again after taking a week off makes me want to cry.

Should we start next Monday to give everyone time to get on board? Sooner???

    I'm so excited :)
