I was at my local health food store, and overheard this guy singing the praises of using albumen for protein in smoothies instead of whey. It has a lot less ingredients/fillers than most whey protein powders, a substantial amount of protein, and he claimed that you can barely taste it. Also good if you're lactose intolerant and want to avoid soy protein.
Anyone here use it for their smoothies? How does it taste, and is it a good value over giant tubs of whey protein? I might make the switch
