PMS, the calorie killer

Chicks, you'll get it. Guys, stick around. . . .here's some insight to us 'crazy' girls.

So, here's my thought process on this thing called PMS. PMS=eat-everything-in-sight.
I think I ate enough carbs today to support a small family. Here's my theory. . . . . because of all the fun stuff we loose for a week, our bodies 'bulk up'. The week before the blessed escapade, the hungry hits like a brick wall. The phrase, "im so hungry I could eat a horse" is replaced by, 'ya add his immediate family and the rest of the farm". GET IN MY BELLY. My nights are spent trying not to indulge in everything I can get my hands on, while looking at food porn on the internet. homemade brownie cupcakes, with step-by-step pictorial. . . o baby, talk dirty to me.
Myself, I crave, beef-fruit-and yes, chocolate. If i could fit all those in between a sesame seed bun, call it Heaven yo! Beef, im guessing my body is wanting to store up some iron for the week's loss. Fruit, well im guessing with all the damn fatigue & falling asleep while in mid-sentence, my body is needing the sugar rush. And chocolate, well crap, we need something to make us happy! Chocolate is my friend and stands by me while my boyfriend, conveniently, has 'stuff' to do.
Like I can blame him. Us chicks get into a mode that has only one switch----psychotic emotional overload. I will jump down your throat for not answering my text within seconds, whats wrong with you!??!
Screw exercise, i don't feel like moving when my uterus feels like its about to fall out of my body. . . .along with my back refusing my ambition of me getting out of bed. (yes i know its suppose to help with cramps, but i dont give a crap)
Guys- get it? see the crap we go through? You have no idea how much is going on at once and we can't contain or ignore any of these things. They unfortunately happen against our will. That Mother Nature is basically is a b*tch lol So, pass the box of chocolates or so help me, whinning will commence.

So, i finally decide to give in today and indulge on a whole wheat bagel with honey-nut cream cheese, serving of cheese tortellinis, and pesto pasta. o god was it fantastic. i regret the calorie intake, but i'd do it again. :) My point is this, i don't think it's bad to partake into the cravings, but in moderation. Today was of course my downfall, but now i think i'll quit beating myself up about it with these thoughts.........while eating this chocolate chip cookie.

    I have staved off killer PMS cravings with a spoonful of peanut butter dipped in chocolate chips.. it's like 150 calories, but so satisfying.
