So for starters, I train horses for a living. So my body is pretty efficient at this activity. ( it's listed under cardio activity... 153 calories burned.) I set my activity level this winter when my season is slow and I pretty much just walk around and feed and brush horses and give lessons. Now spring is arriving early I have gone from riding a horse or two a day to riding 3 to 5 naughty horses a day. I'm not sure how to adjust my calorie intake. I was doing supper well on the 1300 to 1400 calories a day, but I have stopped loosing. And I know I need to eat more, I'm just a little panicked about how much more. The BMR and TDEE stuff confuses the **** out of me. I don't really know how to find the accurate numbers or how toaccount for the extra calories that I need. And if I have a slow week how to adjust for that also. Advice??? Thank you.

Thats pretty unique exercise and you probably wont be able to accuratly estimate. Maybe invest in a heart rate monitor with a chest strap. The one I have "Sportline Womens Duo" costs about 70.00. You can monitor up to 10 hours of activity and its based off of your age, weight, height and heart rate which it checks every few seconds. You could probably get a much better estimate! Also, works great for P90X! :D

I would increase your activity level in the goals setter. Go one up from where you are now and see how that goes. You didn't say what you have your activity level at.
