do u lift weights? do u eat alot of fruit? if you workout at the gym, eat a protein and a carb before your workout, and your fruits/protein after.0

Why are you so stressed about going over your sugar? I don't even track my sugar and I'm still having great results.0

I'm not a gym rat or a nutritionist or anything, but I'd be glad to take a look at your diary if you want to open it. I bet there are a couple of easy substitutes we can make to lower the sugar.0

Protein in check? Fat in check? If so, don't worry about sugar.0

My sugars are mostly from fruit and yes I am down 33 pounds since september so it is working I just can't seem to make my sugar totals go down maybe I am worried about nothing. I will open my diary if anyone is interested in telling me how. I do eat really really good0

If you are eating clean I.e. no junk, then the sugars should be fine. Now if u are getting them in an unhealthy way (a snickers lol) then just cut that stuff out! GL!!0

Common sense rule applies here unless you are diabetic:
Are you hitting your calorie and macro targets?
Are you selecting "mostly" whole foods like fruits, vegetables, meats, nuts, and only eating junkfood "occasionally"?
If so, I wouldn't worry at all about reducing your sugar intake.0 -
I just opened my diary to the public anyone wants to take a look and see what you think? I really want to get my bod yfat percentage down0

I don't know how to put the quotes in boxes so bear with me. I rarely eat any fast food don't drink soda workout every day and always come in under my calories macros except usually really high on protein and fiber0 -
Looking at your diary, your diet looks fine despite the fairly high sugar. It's mostly coming from fruits and vegetables.
You could switch to skim milk and save a lot of sugar. Also, maybe switch to an unflavored oatmeal. Those two should reduce your sugar considerably. But again, your diet looks fine as it is.0 -
natural or not, as long as you aren't going on a binge, I wouldn't worry about sugar at all.0

I do all the above I wonder and from reading other posts I think I am worried about something that I shouldn't Thank You0 -
I don't want to add to any stress you have with regards to your eating. But......
You might want to consider tracking your sodium.
I did a quick look at your food diary and nothing about the sugar jumped out at me.
However, there was prepared foods on your diary and that usually means a high amount of sodium.
I have high blood pressure so I keep an eye on my sodium. The recommended daily amount of sodium for a person with no health problems is in the 2500 mg range. I bet that you are more over on the sodium than you are on the sugar!
Regardless of your "counts". If the scale is moving in the right direction and you are getting regular exercise. I would not stress to much.
All the best.0 -
I'd eat less fruit...especially "processed" fruit like the Dole fruit cups (which are probably in "syrup" --- aka, straight-up sugar!).
Even better, fill up on more veggies rather than just fruit.
Also, your yogurt has sugar as a sweetener. Swap it out for a whole milk plain yogurt or better yet, unsweetened Greek yogurt. Then, add a bit of honey or maple syrup if you need a sweetener. Controlling the amount yourself is usually better than the 20+ grams manufacturers put in.
But great job on getting some of those superfoods in your diet -- chia and flax.0
