hey I am in need for some advice. I am 67 kgs now I used to weigh 86 n then I lost weight. My lowest weight was 55 and since two years due to some problems and the lack of confidence in losing in the last five kilos I stopped working out and dieting I know bad idea. I thought I would give it a break and start again after a few months. Well its been almost two years and my weight kept increasing. I recently went on a low carb diet and started working out again but I did not see results I got my hormones checked and it appears I have high androgen levels. The doctor gave me meds and advised for a normal healthy diet. So far my weight has been same since the meds. But I need to be healthy again. The deal is I have a bit carbs for dinner but that will be 2 whole wheat rotis as I am Indian. My trainer friend keeps telling me to cut carbs. I know it works but I am so so tired of eating chicken and salad in the night. I want to try something different. So I was hoping if having smoothies for dinner is a good idea. The fruits I will stick to will strawberry, blueberry and kiwi. Probably which will have less sugar. I can add some more good healthy stuff. But a nice enough glass smoothie is good idea for dinner and weight loss or not? if yes you have any ideas for what kind smoothie should I prefer. Thank you.

The whole carb thing again... honestly carbs are good for you. Your body thrives on carbs and needs a good balance in your life. It's brain food
For dinner you want to have only 10% worth of carbs in your whole meal though or somewhere around that number... Depending on what's in your shake I don't think it'll have a lot of things that your body will need to continue on, and you will probably just feel more hungry in the middle of the night. I suggest just having balanced meals throughout the day 3-5. In the morning have the most carbs, half half noon, and very little at night. I hope this advice was good for you, I'm just speaking from experience and personal research.
ICARBS, and I STILL lose weight.

A good smoothie I give my clients for breakfast (I get them to eat real food for satiety for the rest of the day) is:
40g whey, 40g fine oats, handful of berries (changing them daily) and a tablespoon of ground flaxseed.
It is both nutritious, full of antioxidants, and efa's and will help you digest your food. Win win win win!0 -
Yeah I agree to have carbs in the night. I started eating my dinner early and plus I cant go without my rotis and whole wheat bread. The only carbs I eat is whole wheat roti and bread. And oats in the morning.0
