Can someone PLEASE share some info on this topic for me. I always hear people complaine that they are weighing in more the few days before and durring their period. How much of this is true and why?

up to 3lbs gain during the d**n period.

the solution is to weigh once a month at the same point in your cycle. So two weeks out, for instance. This will give you the most accurate read on where you're at and what your body is up (or down:flowerforyou:) to.

    Hope that helps:wink:

Yes... it's true, and for me it could be up to 5 pounds and for almost a whole week. I imagine it's from fluid retention.

Thank you so much for this information. I have been doing a weightloss competiton at work and I gained 5 pounds this week after watching everything I ate and exercised an insane amount and I just didn't get it! Now this makes sense and I hope I lose that and more this week! Thanks!!

I just tired to do my weekly weigh-in and it said I gained 3 pounds, and I know it is just my period, but it is totally discouraging!
