New - Need Tips Please

I'm just starting out and I was hoping that someone might have a few excersise tips they could lend to me. I do not have the extra cash right now for a gym membership, so I am trying to do it from home. I don't have much in the way of room, so when it comes to anything that requires lots of movement around the room I'm fairly limited. I do have an eliptical that I'm using for cardio as well as walking, but was hoping for some weight training tips, maybe even a website I could check out for different excercise ideas. Thanks in advance!

Body weight exercises are a great place to start: push-ups, lunges, squats, burpees, jumping jacks, ab work, etc.
Check out some of your local thrift/charity shops and see if you can pick up a few pairs of dumbbells. Having some hand weights would be great!0 -
I do have 5lb dumbbells that I have been using, I am just never sure what exercises I should be doing. I dont have much in the way for room, jumping jacks and burbpees are out, at least until the weather warms up and I can venture to the back yard0

They have tons of free videos that are really good for working out at home. There's one for strength training that I really like, all you need is a chair and I think a pair of dumbbells. You dont need a lot of room either0 -
