Anyone planning an April challenge?

I would love to participate in an April challenge if anyone is planning something. I find that I'm much more productive (exercise-wise) when I'm doing a challenge.

    What are you thinking Nance? Weight loss? Exercise minutes for the month? Not sure how to put something like that together...would we need a group?

    I need to do another challenge, too...not something huge, but some sort of exercise challenge that beats consistency into my thick head........ :laugh:

    I was thinking an exercise challenge, not a weight loss challenge...something similar to what Gary did last July where he gave us specific exercises to do each week. But there would have to be several teams competing against each other to do something like that. If we have just one small group, we could do something like miles or minutes logged exercising.

    I started a group for doing the 30 Day Shred; you are very welcome to join us! I've never done it before, and after seeing so many amazing before and after transformations in only one month, I was on board. :) I just got my DVD today; it's only $9 on Amazon, or I think you can Netflix it or watch it On Demand!

    I would really prefer to do a minutes exercised challenge rather than the 30-day shred. I tried it once and I just am not to the point where I can keep up with her! I can't get up and down fast enough to do all the sets ....LOL! So, who wants to do a minutes exercised challenge and see who can accummulate the most minutes? Even if you're doing the 30 DS, you can still participate.....those minutes count!

    But that's just me...if the rest of you would rather do the 30 DS, I'll look for something else. Thanks.

    Good news everybody.....Amazing Grace has agreed to host our little challenge. I sent her the link to this thread so she could see what we were interested in. I told her we basically wanted something simple like # of minutes exercised each day/week and that if she could throw in some specific exercises on top of that for us to complete each day that would be great, but to do what she felt she could handle.

    I know some of you wanted to do the 30 Day Shred, but that's not what I'm interested in right now. Frankly, I can't keep up with Jillian at this point. So, if you're interested in something simple like minutes exercised with perhaps some extra exercises tacked on top of that, jump in and get on board.

    We plan to start on April 1st. Let me hear from you please, so I can coordinate with Teresa (Amazing Grace). Thanks!

    I've been doing Move Your @ss Challenge for the past 8 months. They start over every month. When March is over just search for April Move your @ss Challenge. You Challenge yourself to see how many miles you can do for the month. It can be running, walking, biking or anything you do that tracks miles. Keeps me motivated. You should try it out for April.
