Runners! Garmin HRM

I'm looking for some advice from runners. I'm just starting out running, right now we have a very old Forerunner, it's big bulky and is hard to read during dusk. I also pair it with a Polar FT7 to track my calories burned. Now I want an all in one product so I'm not lugging a lot around. Basically what I want is something that will track calories burned even when running, doing Turbofire or other cardio videos. I also would like it to effectively track my distance without having to use a foot pod. Any advice would be great, I'd also like to keep my price around $200.
Thanks
Thanks
