I'm getting married in 6 weeks so I'm starting work on my speech for the big day.

Any tips? Anything you know about ettiquette? Good advice?

Go for it MFP!

Jay

We didn't do speeches at our wedding (that's not really a tradition where I am from), but we both said a few words at the rehearsal dinner the night before. My husband thanked our parents and friends and talked about the first time he saw me. It was very sweet.

    Congrats and good luck!

Compliment your bride, thank your parent(s)/guardian(s), flatter the prospective in-laws and if your best man is not married, remind him that paybacks are hell.
