Ankle injury that has lingered

Hello everyone,
I bellydance at least nights a week for at least an hour. Last June I sprained my left ankle and experienced mild pain and swelling. I followed the RICE. I stayed off it as much as possible for a few weeks and it felt almost better. As long as I do nothing...it feels fine. But the spot on top of the ankle bone and just under always feels bruised when I dance. Turning moves aggravate it as well as moves up on my toes. So I do what I can. We're practicing right now so the ankle has started to swell. I'm not limping or anything. But I'm wrapping it. Which doesn't feel particularly great either. And the bruised feeling is still there, mind you no bruise. Any advice? What do you think?
