Dance Dance Revolution

I've been trying to find out if DDR's workout mode is accurate on the amount of calories that are burned, on higher levels I burn about 25-50 calories per song depending on difficulty, does this sound right? It does also ask me to input my weight.

Does anyone know anything about this topic?

I can't speak for you of course, but I've found the calories according to the game to be off.. like WAAAAAAY off. A friend of mines allowed me to use her HRM to test this. An hour or so caused me to burn nearly a thousand calories.. and yet the game had only listed me as having burned about 650 or so. Maybe it isn't always this grossly off, but this was definitely an eye opener.

I'm just worried about thinking I burned more than I did in reality and over eating :/

I'm pretty active, but I tend to low-ball the exercise calories and high-ball the food and undershoot calories for the whole day just to be sure. Still losing weight, so I guess it's working. Not sure about the set-up for DDR, but I find Wii Fit to have 2-3 minutes of exercise, then you stand around for a minute or two.

I searched around for this a while ago, and I think it said that almost all versions of DDR are highly inaccurate. I tend to just log it as general or aerobic dancing. 25-50 cal seems high, given the average DDR song is about 2-3 minutes.
