Do I need to allow this to happen? What is the need to make changes to my diet if the current one is working? Is there a page where I can have myfitnesspal adjust my diet if I say no to the initial offer?

You can customize your goals. If you go to My Home tab, then the goals tab, then at the bottom there is a change goals button. Click on that, and then click custom and continue. You can then reset your stuff to where it was to begin with.
I think that MFP changes automatically at certain weight loss points, because as you weigh less, you need less calories to run your body.0 -
You hit the big red button & yell, "NO DEAL!"0
